Brain Music is an art project that combines procedural music generation and human-machine interfaces. Using a wireless, non-intrusive EEG (electroencephalogram) device, the user can produce short musical pieces generated completely from scratch (two melody tracks plus percussion), based on their brain waves.
Music is played back through a speaker on the box, and stored in MIDI format to allow users to download them later.
