Rainbow Raceway is a project that brings the fun of powered-up video game kart racing to life, using a combination of customized electric drift trikes, Raspberry PIs, and home made plushie power-ups. Players can affect other trikes speed and acceleration during the race by throwing these power-ups at each other, or driving over ramps that use the same UHF RFID technology that the plushies use.
